Re: USL/NASL 2010 (structure)

"May 27, 2010
What level of play?
Well we know it will not be MLS but that is about all we know. We as all soccer fans have been watching the changes in structures between the USL and NASL. What will division 2 soccer look like a year from now? No one knows. What we can say is we have spoken with officials of both leagues and individual groups and league affiliates and sponsors to make certain our final step is the best soccer we can bring to Arizona."

Re: USL/NASL 2010 (structure)
On peut y lire a propos du Canada à la page 3......"In addition to MLS clubs, several clubs entering or planning to enter NASL (Division 2) with associated stadium developments – Edmonton, Ottawa, Regina, Hamilton.".

"The Canadian Soccer News has confirmed that a PDL side will debut in Winnipeg for the 2011 season. The club got the go ahead from the CSA just prior to the announcement of the 10-month moratorium on sanctioning D2 and PDL teams playing in US leagues.
An official involved in the creation of the team says that the goal of the team is "to give Winnipeggers an authentic soccer viewing experience, developing young Winnipeg talent and helping to build the game in Canada."
An official announcement is expected Dec. 10."

And Canada is catching the cold.

Re: USL/NASL 2010 (structure)

We all love to be critical of the team, but "club website" isn't something I'm too torn up about at this moment.joepaco a écrit :beau site web aussi.

I used to make fun of the fact the reserves site last year was a pdf file of the dates and times of the games, and said "oh why don't they make an actual site for them!!!". Then it turns out they did, and launched it when announcing a multi-tiered development program that started recruiting people officially days later.
They have bigger fish to fry at the moment, and the site is understandably on the back burner. Vancouver's site only went MLS upgrade nearer the end of their last NASL season.
WSAW has a lot of time on it's hands, therefore made a nice site, it's all they have.
Focus on what's important at the moment, before talking websites.

At WSA Winnipeg, we realize the unique passion soccer fans have for their sport. A loud, raucous and intimidating atmosphere not only provides an authentic soccer viewing experience, but helps lift us to victory. We fully embrace the supporters culture.
