Man of the Match: Rob Friend!!

Moss won todays away game against FK Haugesund. At half time the score was 0-0, but 8 minutes into the second half Rob Friend scored this season's first goal. It was a shot by Patrice Bernier that hit the inside of the post and Friend executed the rebound perfectly. 56 min. Amin Askar got a cross ball from Gard Kristiansen and 2-0 for Moss. 63 min. First they reported that Friend had scored his second, but they changed it to a own goal by a Haugesund defender, anyway 3-0. Then Haugesund came back twice to 3-2, but in the 88 minute Rob Friend was in the right position again and 4-2! Nice one Rob! Both Friend and Bernier got a yellow card.

Next game will be against another team from Haugesund, Vard Haugesund. A home game next Sunday the 25th, hopefully with more glorious fun for Friend, Bernier and the Moss fans!

I've noticed that Moss doesn't have a major sponsor on their shirts this season. Is there a reason?

Yes, they still haven't found the "main" sponsor yet. Actually it's rather funny. They have this bank as sponsor, and they are paying more money than the club ask of a #1 sponsor, but the bank claims that they prefer not to be named in big letters on the shirt... Believe it or not! With a couple of more wins I believe someone will come along with an urge to see their company name on the shirt.
